There are actually two types of clove essential oil: clove leaf, derived from the leaves of the evergreen clove tree, and clove bud, which is derived from the long buds that appear on the tree at the beginning of the rainy season.

Our Clove Cinnamon Orange Lemon cleaners are formulated with Clove Bud essential oil, which smells more like the spice you use when baking.

In fact, according to the US National Library of Medicine, cinnamon essential oil inhibits the growth of: Staph, Group A Strep, E.Coli, Salmonella, Proteus mirabilis, which causes UTIs, and Klebsiella pneumoniae, which is antibiotic resistant.
