Clove 

Cloves were among the most precious of spices of Europe during the 16th and 17th centuries. There are actually two types of clove essential oil: clove leaf, derived from the leaves of the evergreen clove tree, and clove bud, which is derived from the long buds that appear on the tree at the beginning of the rainy season.

Our Clove Cinnamon Orange Lemon cleaners are formulated with Clove Bud essential oil, which smells more like the spice you use when baking.

Clove Bud essential oil has antiviral and antimicrobial properties. It also works as an expectorant when breathed in, being a superior oil to use during cold and flu season.

In fact, according to the US National Library of Medicine, cinnamon essential oil inhibits the growth of: Staph, Group A Strep, E.Coli, Salmonella, Proteus mirabilis, which causes UTIs, and Klebsiella pneumoniae, which is antibiotic resistant.

Orange essential oil is derived from the peel of the fruit and smells just like freshly squeezed orange juice.
